Niccolò
They thought she was unsuitable as a bride because the Irish are our enemy.
I thought that made her perfect.
She’s passive and wouldn’t mind that I will never love her.
Passive. Compliant.
I could pretend she didn’t even exist.
But I was wrong.
Siobhan

Michael –
This book is a page-turner with suspenseful imagination. I would recommend this to all my friends. It’s a must-read.
casvec –
Zoe Beth Geller has taken a step into the dark world of the Italian Mafia, and she does not disappoint. The Italian King is the first book in the Micheli Mafia series, pulling you in from the first line to the last. Dante has been raised for his position. He is ruthless yet passionate. Juliet is strong, and she can go head-to-head with the best. Their chemistry is undeniable, making this a thrilling read.
ReadingForRelaxation –
I enjoyed this book very much! It focuses on romance, with the mafia as a backdrop rather than the main theme. Dante is different from other dons—he avoids killing unless necessary and stands against human trafficking. He kidnaps Juliet for leverage against her father, but their dynamic evolves into something deeper. The book keeps you engaged with strong characters and an intense plot.
book lover –
Juliet is a beautiful artist living a normal life until she’s kidnapped by Mafia Don Dante. He uncovers her true identity—she is a mafia princess. He needs her as leverage against her father, but unexpected chemistry changes everything. Zoe Beth Geller delivers an exciting and entertaining read that I highly recommend.
E. See –
I would give it 5 stars, but the overuse of the word “babe” was distracting. For an Italian character in Italy, it felt out of place.
Me and My Shadow –
I liked this story, but book 1 ended in a cliffhanger, and book 2 didn’t carry enough excitement to justify it being a duet. The writing was good, and I loved the characters.
J BARNETT –
Very good, especially since it was back when these guys knew each other in Russia, and it was good that it wasn’t all fighting.
Store Customer –
This book was very good. The author did not solve who murdered both their fathers. I guess that is left open for one of the next two books.

I hated the way Nicolay treated Anya in the beginning, but he eventually realized how special she was. Unfortunately, a kidnapping brought him to his senses, and luckily, she loved him enough to forgive him.
LeMiliere –
This Mafia romance was impossible to put down! It flows well and features romance, chemistry, intrigue, traitors, mystery, drugs, and even kidnapping. The characters are well-drawn, relatable, and engaging. The story builds up to the wedding of the year, uniting two Bratva families.
Shiftybugger –
I absolutely loved this book! It was spectacular, well-written, exhilarating, and the characters were sensational. This story follows Nikolay and Anya and their arranged marriage, designed to unite two powerful families.
casvec –
King’s Promise is the first book in the series and is an amazingly written story that pulls you in fast with danger and suspense. Accidental “death” leads Nicolay and Anya into an arranged marriage they were unaware of.
musicnana –
This story was great. Nicolay and Anya are so good together. She is full of sass and challenges him at every turn. Their marriage was both fathers’ wishes, uniting the Bratva families. A well-written mafia romance.
GVLADY –
Zoe does it again with another knockout! Anya is strong, sassy, and independent. Nikolay starts off as cold and ruthless, but their dynamic makes the story even better. I’m looking forward to Dmitry’s story next!
book lover –
Nickolay is a tough, strong man, but Anya may just be his kryptonite. She is strong-minded, strong-willed, and beautiful. A simply incredible, hot, and entertaining read. Highly recommended!
JanetBG –
When two lives come together again, love knows no obstacles—and there are a few! A wonderful mafia romance.

Riccardo takes his guardianship of Liat seriously. The trouble is, Liat has become a beautiful young woman. A fact that has not gone unnoticed by Riccardo. And this beautiful young woman has deep feelings for her guardian. But Riccardo is much older than Liat. Plus he has a killer still on his tail. With Liat being part of the Russian ballet, her protection is at an all-time high. Can Riccardo stay focused on his responsibilities and still let a relationship develop between them? Or must he make it a lesser priority and handle his loyalties to the mafia and his duty as simply her guardian? This book tells all. Highly recommend this book and this author.
Momof2 –
This book was absolutely amazing! Riccardo is part of the Italian mafia in addition to being Liat’s guardian. Liat’s father placed Liat in Riccardo’s care should anything happen to him. Liat is also a ballerina in Russia and works hard at her talent. Riccardo now sees Liat as a woman and that bothers him because he is older than her. Liat has had feelings for Riccardo for quite some time now. Riccardo feels that Liat is in danger and wants her to return to Italy with him. What will become of this unusual couple? Will Liat be able to continue to dance?
Shellylivvy –
Enjoyed every book in this 5-book series! Excellent stories and exciting characters. Stumbled upon book 1 by accident and so glad I did.
Amber_Arevalo –
This is the third book in the Borrelli series. ZBG does an amazing job bringing us into this world, filling each story with raw and beautiful emotions. This can be read as a standalone, but for the full experience, I highly recommend starting with book 1. The hero never expected to find love, yet he finds himself drawn to protect and cherish the heroine, who remains strong and sweet despite life’s hardships.
musicnana –
I thought it started off a little slow, but then it grabbed me and I was hooked. This relationship is so intense and driven. The plot is well-structured, and the characters are great. Renato and Abigail have sizzling chemistry, making the story even better. I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Store Customer –
What an exciting book! Abigail is tired of her boyfriend Trey ignoring her and cheating. When Trey stops the limo in front of a human trafficking house, everything changes. Will Abigail escape, or will Renalto save her? Will Renalto fall in love with Abigail or use her for her father’s gambling debts? There are so many twists and turns in this gripping story!
Jamie –
This is the third book in the series, but it can easily be read as a standalone. I enjoyed Zoe Beth Geller’s writing and the “will they/won’t they” relationship dynamic.
Brenda Hurley –
I loved reading this book! It was well written, and I can’t wait to read more from this author. Highly recommended!
Didi –
My first read by this author, and I’ll be looking into her other books. This story was filled with dark secrets and betrayals. Renalto was a no-commitment type of guy until Abigail changed everything. He will protect her no matter what it takes.
Colleen –
This mafia book grabs your attention from start to finish. The story is intriguing, filled with drama, and the characters have amazing chemistry.
Store Customer –
I really enjoyed this book. Matteo takes one look at a woman and falls in love. Little did he know he would have an alliance with the Russians.
book lover –
This is an incredible book. It is extremely well-written. Matteo’s father passes, placing Matteo at the helm. Now, he is expected to marry and produce an heir. That is the last thing Matteo wants until he sees Alena. She will be his. There’s an interesting twist when it comes to Alena. You won’t be disappointed.
GVLADY –
A great read, especially if you enjoy mafia romances. This is a mafia-lite book with little on-page violence. I loved Matteo aka Mr. Grey and how he found his queen in an unsuspecting way. A nice steamy romance that I’d recommend.
Theresa S. –
A lighter mafia trope book that was a fun read. Good characters, a bit of spice, and a plot that kept me interested. Side characters were interesting, and it had a nice HEA.
C&A H –
Really enjoyed watching these two come together. The hero has a tragic backstory that had him afraid to live again, but the heart wants what it wants.
Charlie –
Vengeance and Vows is a great story. I love the characters in this story. Very entertaining, intense, spicy, with twists and turns. Well written. I highly recommend it.
Heather Dudley –
Vengeance and Vows is part of the Borrelli Mafia Romance series. Niccolo believes his family name carries a curse. He believes it is safer to never love again. However, when he meets Siobhan, everything changes. I highly recommend this book to mafia romance lovers.
SS –
Vengeance and Vows is the second book in the Borrelli Mafia. It was well-written and captivating. The plot was gripping, and the characters were amazing.
YAZ3885 –
I was addicted to this book from the beginning. Niccolo fell in love with Siobhan from the moment he laid eyes on her. He’s possessive, and she’s sweet and strong—the perfect match.
Shiftybugger –
This was an absolutely fantastic book. Niccolo does not care to have a wife after his fiancée was killed. Siobhan is naive, kept away from life itself. Well, vengeance will be theirs.
musicnana –
This story was well written with a great plot and amazing characters. I was rooting for Nicole and Siobhan from the start. She brought him out of his dark depression and gave him a reason to live.
Store Customer –
This is a different kind of mafia romance. Set in Italy instead of the U.S., the story focuses more on romance than crime. Dante and his family are likable, and Juliet is strong. There are action and steamy scenes, but it’s not as dark as other mafia romances.
Barbara Melton –
I loved this story! Dante and Juliet were made for each other, even though he kidnapped her. Their chemistry is undeniable.
Jackie Brown –
Book 1 of the Micheli Mafia series has all the elements: hunks, goons, beautiful women, hot scenes, and intrigue. The book is a bit lightweight, with lengthy character thoughts, but overall a good read.
